One-Window for Russian visas & work permits

An improved one-window service for work permits & related documents has been launched for AmCham member companies. This AmCham service is free of charge.

Representatives of AmCham member companies should bring their documents to the AmCham office at Dolgorukovskaya 7, 14th floor (Ул. Долгоруковская 7, 14ый этаж).
 
 An authorized, dedicated AmCham member of staff will collect submitted documents, transfer them to the Federal Migration Service offices, and transfer processed applications back to the AmCham office for collection by members.
 
 The Federal Migration Service has confirmed that it will try to maintain the 45 working day maximum time limit for processing both permits to engage foreign labor, work permits and visa applications.
 
 The entire process consists of the following stages:
 1. Submission of documents for permit to engage foreign labor
 2. Submission of documents for visa and work permit
 
At stage 2, documents for the work visa and documents for the work permit must be sealed in separate envelopes. Each applicant will therefore submit to AmCham two envelopes. The name of the applicant, name of the applicant's company and a contact telephone number must be written on each envelope.

AmCham will only deliver sealed envelopes to the FMS - AmCham will not check enclosed documents. In the case of errors in an application, the documents will be returned to the applicant on the next working day.
 
Important remark: The FMS website does not yet contain lists of all documents necessary for both stages. AmCham is working to resolve this issue.
