Tips from the U.S. Consulate General

1. A laser printer should be used to print out an electronic confirmation page;
2. When taking a visa picture, please ask for the soft copy - you'll need it when fiiling out the application; hard copy should be taken along!
3. The patronymic should be spelt according to our transliteration table (please see the spelling of most partonymics also);
4. Pick up time - 4 pm on Friday same week at the front gate of the Consulate.
5. When applying, one should clarify if he/she qualifies for the Fingerscan Re-use/Appearance waiver.

It is also necessary that the couriers who submit the applications at the Consulate know the names of the applicants.
