Charitable Mini-soccer Tournament «League winners»

On November 13, 2011, at 10 a.m. the 4^th charitable mini-soccer tournament «League winners» will take place at the Soccer School of Olympic Reserve "Smena" (FC «Zenit» school). The event is organized by the Charitable Foundation «Warm Home».  

Charitable mini-soccer tournament is the competition between corporate teams from various business spheres united by one goal: to help St Petersburg families in difficult situations. The main aim of the tournament is to raise money for funding programs in support of children from risk families implemented by the «Warm Home» charitable foundation and to draw public attention to the problem of child neglect and family protection.

All fees for participation in the tournament will go to the "Warm Home" programs such as purchase of food sets, organization of family celebrations, excursions, camps, drama school’s activities and art therapy classes. 

Professional referees will carry out the judging. Each participant and the winner team will receive prizes.

The opening ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. and the award and closing ceremonies – at 3 p.m. 

About «Warm Home»:

Charitable Foundation «Warm House» was established in 2006 to provide support for children and parents from risk families: 

•          Single parents with children,

•          Families, where parents and/or children are disabled,

•          Families, where parents were brought up in orphanages in their childhood,

•          Families, where parents have addictions,

•          Low-income families,

•          Families, where children are brought up by guardians, etc.

Our support to these families is aimed to restore and strengthen family relations, to prevent possible break-up, and to prevent giving children to orphanages.

•          «Warm Home» provided social help for 317 families with 706 children

•          We carried out 138 group trainings, 36 family holidays and 8 excursions in St. Petersburg and region for families and adolescents in crisis situation

•          More than 290 parents and children took part in 8 family camps at Azov and Baltic seashores

•          We collected and distributed 8 tons of charitable aid (including clothes and food)

The Foundation works to ensure that these children have not lost their families and do not fall into the orphanages or on the street. Currently, the Foundation supports 326 families of St. Petersburg and Leningrad region, bringing up more than 630 children. More than 700 children and parents receive a one-off assistance from the Foundation.

The Foundation has more than once became the recipient of state support from the National Foundation for (http://nbfond.ru/). The Fund is actively cooperating with the Frommatters of Social Security and the Centers for families and children in Krasnosel'skii, Kirov, Nevsky, Maritime and Central areas as well as with the employment centers of Krasnogvardeisky district municipalities in St. Petersburg.
