Within the framework of the 3rd St. Petersburg International Innovation Forum, on Friday, October 1, AmCham St. Petersburg co-organized a panel discussion
GLOBAL INNOVATIONS: POTENTIAL, PROBLEMS, OPPORTUNITIES IN/FOR RUSSIA
where global leaders discussed cutting-edge trends in innovations and how Russian businesses can profit from joining them. The discussion was designed to introduce the Russian small and medium size business community to technologies of the future as an opportunity for ideas, creation and development of new and innovative companies. Participants of this discussion — heads of leading companies from the Silicon Valley — discussed the most important modern technology trends and their deployment in Russia, opportunities that exist for Russian entrepreneurs: as partners, suppliers and start-ups. Participants of this panel discussion talked about the main global trends which will appear in the near future, and the opportunities that these innovations may provide for the emergence of start-ups and broader development of existing Russian companies. During the discussion, certain technologies were showcased, and examples of their possible implementation were provided. As part of the demonstration, the newest technology from Ambiq technology that is being offered to the Russian market, was presented, along with other technologies provided by the participants.
