Dear AmCham members:
We have been informed that the Vyborgsky Customs Post (located at Sterh Corp.’s terminal) that was stopped last week, is not tore-open until the date of its official shutdown — May 18, 2010 (according to the Federal Customs Service’s Order 457 dated March 10, 2009).
Moreover, another order on closing the Piskarevsky Customs Post is expected to be signed this week.
We share the business community’s fear that these actions may cause significant problems with customs clearance, and are distributing this
