Started as lately as in December 2008 as a working group on waste management that immediately proved to be worth converting into a permanent subcommittee on environment, health and safety issues within the Manufacturing Committee, by the end of the year developed into a full-scale committee attracting member companies’ leading experts and top-level officials. Soon after the Committee was awarded 'Committee of the Year' award and until now remains one of most active and productive committees bringing to discussion most up-to date issues and inviting Government officials and competent speakers for the dialogue.
