In its 15th year of work, the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia has evolved into the largest and most influential foreign business organization in Russia. It is an impact player in the policymaking arenas of both the U.S. and Russian governments, endorsing solutions to trade and investment issues that protect and benefit the interests of over 800 U.S., international and Russian member companies — 160 of which belong to the St. Petersburg AmCham Chapter.
AmCham St. Petersburg will continue to move business forward in the Northwest Region and deliver measurable returns on membership fee investments by seeking to remove barriers to normal business operations and effectively advocating the interests of transparent and responsible companies. The HR Committee meeting discussed employee benefit programs as well as pensionary legislation and companys' operational isseues related to it. A presentation of Summer Internships in the U.S. program was made and topics for the committee meetings in HR defined.
