On Jan. 29, AmCham President Andrew Somers was the featured guest at a roundtable luncheon in Moscow with Bloomberg reporters at their offices. The roundtable preceded a live television interview with Somers on the business network. Bloomberg is significantly expanding in Russia during 2007 and has already a doubled its reporting staff to 20, with plans to hire an additional nine and a local TV reporter. It will also be opening of bureaus on St. Petersburg and Almaty, Kazakhstan.
