Information for PNTR Congressional Campaign is Needed!

Dear Member,

We would greatly appreciate receiving from you the following information before June 15, 2007.

  • Name(s) of Congressmen/women representing the area where your company has its (a) headquarters, (b) office, (c) facility/factory.
  • Address(es) and ZIP code(s)of the above premises.
  • Names of Senators in the States where the above premises are located.

This information will be instrumental in targeting our efforts to educate members of Congress about the success of American business in Russia.  This educational effort is a key element of AmCham’s Congressional campaign to advocate the repeal of the Jackson-Vanik Amendment and granting Russia Permanent Normal Trade Relations (PNTR) to ensure that American companies are eligible to receive the full benefit of Russia’s WTO accession.

If you would like background information on AmCham’s advocacy strategy to share with executives in your company’s headquarters, please advise.

Please send the requested information to Irina Doronina, Policy Projects Manager, at idoronina@amcham.ru by June 15.  Irina will be following up with your office shortly.

Best regards,
Andrew B. Somers
President
