Aug 01, 2008: Federal Anti-Monopoly Service To Propose New Bill
The Federal Anti-Monopoly Service has stated that it will propose a bill to amend article 178 of the Criminal Code to introduce severe criminal liability for companies' top managers responsible for cartel collusion in key sectors of the economy.
The proposal will make violation of anti-monopoly rules punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
